Mechanical stress is the leading cause of premature stress leaks in plastic piping systems. Pipe clams, which address the leaks, usually only cause fixed points that lead to continual stress.
To address this challenge, GF Piping Systems created the new Stress Less Pipe and Valve Support System. It benefits to those who own, design, and install thermoplastic piping systems. It’s a pipe guide and valve support system that specifically eliminates the typical thermal expansion and contraction stress that improper installation, stress transfer, and seismic events cause. It only comes in contact with a low friction, molded HDPE insert, which then lets it slide in with minimal stress during each thermal expansion cycle. An exterior steel hoop supports the pipe during normal operating conditions. Stress valves, which move in two directions as the pipe contracts and expand, complete the system.
The Stress Less Pipe and Valve Support System increases the service life of PP, PVDF, HDPE, PVC, CPVC, and ABS industrial piping systems.
For over twenty years, Ecomass Technologies has provided groundbreaking solutions in the engineering and development of high density materials, high density polymers, and high density plastics. It works with customers, original equipment manufacturers and material processors in government and industry to overcome physical property and material demands. Its skill and expertise allows customer to focus on form and function while it resolves the products’ material challenges. It strives to provide customers with the highest performing, lowest priced materials so that they can effectively compete in their markets.
Ecomass high gravity compounds are engineered to replace traditional materials. They’ve replaced lead, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, and tungsten in a wide range of applications. They’ve replaced toxic lead projectiles, shielded x-ray and gamma rays, dampened vibrations in automobiles and sporting goods, and balanced weights.
And, now, high density compounds, like the kind Ecomass produces, are improving pipes, just like GF Piping Systems.
